Web page design can be fun or frustrating, depending on how experienced you
are.
We have found that using Microsoft Front Page 98
or 2000 is an excellent way to do web design if you don't want to learn html.
In order to make sure that you can log on to edit your page, there is an
option that must be checked in Dial-up Networking. To make sure, in
Windows 95/98:
Click Start.
Go to Programs, then Accessories, then find Dial-Up Networking. It may be
in a folder called Communications.
Find the icon used to connect to ACS. Usually called ACS, Ashland Computer
Systems, or My Connection.
Right-click one time on the icon, scroll down to properties and click.
There is a check box marked "log on to network." This box must
have a check mark in it so that Front Page can log you in to edit a page.
